7. Order Process
7.1 The advertising of products on our website constitutes an “invitation to treat” rather than a contractual offer. Your order constitutes a contractual offer that we may accept.
7.2 To submit an order, you must be over 18 years old and have legal authority to enter into binding contracts. You must provide full and accurate contact details.
7.3 Your order represents an offer to purchase a product at the specified price. We may accept or decline your offer at our discretion.
7.4 If we accept your order, we will send you a confirmation email and process payment. At this point a legally binding contract is formed.
7.5 Where we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and no payment will be taken.
8. Payment
8.1 All product prices are listed in Great British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
8.2 The total order price includes the price of the products, delivery cost, and any applicable taxes. We will confirm the total order price during checkout.
8.3 All orders must be paid for using one of the payment methods available on our site. We accept most major credit and debit cards, along with PayPal. You must pay the full order value upfront when you place the order.
8.4 Products remain property of Igel Mattress until full payment is received. This includes orders on finance, unless you have purchased the product through a 0% interest deal.
9. Delivery
9.1 We provide free UK delivery on all orders over £50. For orders below £50, delivery costs are calculated during checkout.
9.2 Mattresses are vacuum packed for delivery and may take up to 72 hours to fully expand.
9.3 We aim to dispatch your order within 3 working days, however delays are possible. We do not guarantee delivery times or dates.
9.4 On delivery, you may be asked for proof of identity and delivery address. We are unable to deliver to PO boxes or military addresses.
9.5 If no one is available, you will be left details of where your parcel is located. We cannot accept liability for any lost, damaged or stolen parcels if left in a safe place at your instruction.
9.6 Delivery drivers may take away your old mattress if requested when placing your order. Additional charges apply.
10. Returns and Refunds
10.1 If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, you can return it in original condition within 100 days of receipt. See our returns policy for how to return items.
10.2 Once received, we will process a full refund back to your original payment method. This may take up to 5 working days. Mattresses may be subject to a £50 collection fee.
10.3 Custom made or personalised products cannot be refunded unless faulty or misdescribed.
10.4 Promotional items, discounts and coupons cannot be refunded if the qualifying order is changed or cancelled.
10.5 We recommend inspecting products carefully on delivery. If an error occurs in fulfilment, please contact us immediately. Refunds may not be possible for used products with minor damage or defects.
11. Customer Service

11.2 If your issue relates to product warranties or guarantees, please provide proof of purchase reference numbers where applicable.
12. Consumer Contracts Regulations
12.1 These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations if purchasing as a consumer. You may cancel orders within 14 days of receipt. Contact us to arrange returns.
12.2 If you cancel your order, you must return the products to us at your own expense within 14 days. We will process a full refund within 14 days of cancellation.
12.3 You are liable if products lose value from non-essential use. We may reduce refunds to account for damage or missing parts.
13. Warranties and Guarantees
13.1 All products purchased through this website are covered by statutory consumer guarantees under UK law. We provide additional warranties on select products as detailed below:
- Mattresses come with a 15 year warranty against manufacturing flaws and premature indentation greater than 1.5 inches.
- Bed frames come with a 5 year warranty on frames and parts against manufacturing defects.
- Furniture comes with a 3 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
13.2 Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, damage or improper use. Claims require proof of purchase from Igel Mattress.
13.3 If a warranty claim is approved, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. Replacements may use equivalent parts. We reserve the right to replace defective products with the closest substitute if your model is discontinued.
13.4 Replaced or repaired items are covered for the remainder of the original product warranty only.
14. Liability
14.1 The website content is for informational use only and does not constitute professional advice. You should seek appropriate expert assistance for your specific needs.
